Road Transport Division opens control room to monitor traffic

To ensure smooth traffic during the upcoming Holy Eid-ul-Azha, the Road Transport and Highways Division at the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) headquarters in the city's Banani has opened a central control center on the third floor.

A press release issued on Sunday said that the central control room has officials or employees of BRTA, Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC), Dhaka Transport Co-ordination Authority (DTCA) and Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).

The control room's cell number is 01550-051606, and its landline number is 55040737, it added.
