Main Eid Jamaat at 7:30am at National Eidgah

The main Jamaat of the Eid-ul-Azha will be held at the National Eidgah in the city at 7:30am on Thursday.

All preparations for holding the main Eid Jamaat at the National Eidgah have almost been completed to mark the second largest religious festivals of the Muslims.

According to DSCC press release, Dhaka South City Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh will visit the progress of the preparatory works at Eidgah at 11am on Tuesday.

A total of 35,000 devotees will be able to offer the Eid prayers together inside the main pandal.

However, many more devotees would join the Eid Jamaat outside the paldal.

In the case of inclement weather or any unavoidable circumstance, the main Eid congregation will be held at 8am at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, the release added.
