Biman's first return Hajj flight lands with 418 passengers

The first return hajj flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines with 418 pilgrims has reached Dhaka safely.

The airline's BG-332 flight landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 7:15am on Monday.

Returning pilgrims were received with flower bouquets by the officials of Biman. They were also each given a 5-litre bottle of water from the Zamzam well.

This year's annual Hajj pilgrimage has drawn more than 1.8 million worshippers, Saudi Arabia's statistics authority said. A total of 1,22,221 pilgrims from Bangladesh went to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year.
