Diplomats holds seminar at House of Lords

A seminar entitled ‘Building a Nation: Challenges and Achievements of the First 50 Years of Bangladesh's Independence’ was held recently at House of Lords of the United Kingdom under the auspice of Diplomats
A seminar entitled ‘Building a Nation: Challenges and Achievements of the First 50 Years of Bangladesh's Independence’ was held recently at House of Lords of the United Kingdom under the auspice of Diplomats, the only diplomatic magazine published from Bangladesh.
Praising Bangladesh as a role model for development, the speakers discussed about the next course of actions to face the challenges of the next century.
Dr. Ashfaq A Khan, Dr. Bishwajit Roy, A H Nurujjaman, Dr. Sahidi Bilan, Cllr. Sham Islam, Cllr. Jyotsna Islam, Snigdha Kundu Misty, Alok Saha, Nazinur Rahim and Shahagir Bakth Faruk were present on the occasion as guest of speakers.
Baroness Uddin, the only Bengali representative to House of Lords, presided over the seminar.
In the event, Baroness said Bangladesh is on the right path of progress.
Nazinur Rahim, executive editor of Diplomats, said every friendly country has the support of Bangladesh in this development.
The magazine will henceforth be published regularly from London.
Speakers appreciated the activities of the Diplomats for covering Rohingya issue, the first Genocide Corner and other burning events.
