Price of per litre soybean oil reduced by Tk 10

The cost of bottled soybean oil has fallen by Taka 10 per liter as a result of the global market's decreasing trend in edible oil prices.

Soybean oil will cost Tk 179 per litre starting on Wednesday, according to a news release published on Tuesday by the Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners & Vanaspati Manufacturers Association.

According to the announcement, the cost of five liters of loose soybean oil has dropped by Taka 43 to Taka 873, the cost of a liter of loose palm oil has dropped by Taka 5 to Taka 128 and the cost of a liter of palm oil in a bottle has dropped by Taka 12 to Taka 148.

Additionally, it said that the Association has lowered the price of edible oil after conferring with the Ministry of Commerce and the Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission because the cost of importing edible oil had fallen.
