Channel 24 debuts Bangladesh's first-ever AI news presenter

Channel 24, a commercial TV network based in Dhaka, launched the country's first ‘artificial intelligence’ news presenter entitled Aparajita.

Aparajita made its debut at 7 pm bulletin on Wednesday. 

However, Channel 24 did not disclose about the nature of the technology used to produce the ‘artificial intelligence’ or ‘AI’ news presenter. 

When Kuwait News unveiled "Feda" in April, the application of artificial intelligence in news presentation attracted attention on a global scale. 

Similar to this, an AI news presenter was introduced on July 9 by Odisha Television Limited (OTV), a private television network in India.
