11 case filed, 513 BNP men sued over clashes with police in Dhaka

Eleven cases have been filed against 513 BNP leaders and activists in connection with Saturday's clashes with police during the party's sit-in programme at the city entrance points.

Confirming the matter on Sunday, Additional Police Commissioner (Media) K N Ray Niyoti said more cases would be filed in this connection.

Out of the 11 cases, two were filed with the Uttara South Police Station, three with Uttara North, one with Airport, one with Sutrapur, one with Bangshal, one with Kadamtali, and two with Jatrabari.

The 513 men were sued in connection with carrying explosives, arson, vandalism, and attacking police.
