New navy chief pays courtesy call on PM

Vice Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, Chief of Naval Staff, has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence, Ganabhaban.

They discussed a range of subjects during the meeting, according to KM Shakhawat Moon, the prime minister's deputy press secretary.

He said that the premier congratulated the new navy chief and presented him with a bouquet of flowers as well as his well wishes.

Hassan also greeted the prime minister, giving her a bouquet and requesting her blessing.
