Dengue: 10 die, 2,589 hospitalised

A total of 10 dengue patients died in the country during the last 24 hours till 8 am on Thursday, according to a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

As many as 2,589 patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the same period.

Out of the total dengue-infected patients, some 1,101 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 1,488 were admitted to different hospitals outside Dhaka.

So far, 283 deaths were reported from dengue disease this year while it was 281 in the last year.

As of today, the total number of patients rose to 59,716.
