Govt to take opinions on proposed CSA for 14 days

The government has decided to take opinions from its citizens on the proposed Cyber Security Act for 14 days.

The draft law has already been put up on the website for taking opinions.

Law Minister Anisul Haque said this in a press conference at the Bangladesh Computer Council Auditorium at Agargaon in the capital on Thursday.

The law minister also said the opinion of the concerned stakeholders will be taken regarding the draft of the act.

On Monday, the government decided to replace Digital Security Act into Cyber Security Act by making several changes. 

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed was present at the today’s press meet.
