Jama'atul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharkqiya banned in Bangladesh

The terrorist organisation Jamaatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya has been banned by the government, according to a gazette notification.

Mohammad Rashed Hossain Chowdhury, the Ministry of Home Affairs' Deputy Secretary (Political wing), issued the notification on Wednesday.

The declared activities of the terrorist group Jamaatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya are against the peace and order of the country, according to a gazette notice.

It also said because the organization's operations endangered the safety of the general public, they had already been made banned in Bangladesh.
