AL, BNP, JaPa hold meeting at US Ambassador's residence

Two US Congressmen visiting Bangladesh have held a meeting with the leaders of the ruling Awami League, BNP and Jatiya Party.

The meeting was held at the Gulshan residence of the US Ambassador to Bangladesh, Peter Haas, from 4:00pm to 5:30 pm on Sunday.

Sources of the meeting said that the representatives of the three parties talked about the issue of free, fair and impartial elections.

The Congressmen include Republican Rich McCormick and Democrat Ed Case.
