Students of 7 DU-affiliated colleges take up positions at Nilkhet

Students of seven colleges affiliated with Dhaka University (DU) took up a position at the capital's Nilkhet intersection on Wednesday, aiming to press home their one-point demand.

The students staged the sit-in programme with banners on the road at around 12 noon. They started gathering at the spot at 10am.

According to the students, they want a relaxation of the GPA or CGPA conditions by allowing up to three makeup examinations and promotion to the next semester.

At the time of filing this report, a large quantity of police personnel was deployed on the scene to prevent any untoward incident.
