Verdict should be implemented fast: PM

The verdict on the August 21 grenade attack case should be implemented expeditiously, said Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on Monday.

"Our leaders and activists were mercilessly killed in broad daylight on August 21. The case was brought to the court, and verdict was given. The case's verdict should be carried out expeditiously," she said.

Sheikh Hasina made the remarks at a discussion event held at the party's Bangabandhu Avenue centre office in Dhaka.
