Rohingyas hold demo demanding return to Myanmar

On the occasion of Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day on Friday, thousands of Rohingyas have held separate demonstrations in 12 camps in Cox's Bazar demanding their return to their homeland in Myanmar.

About 30,000 Rohingyas, including children, gathered in front of the respective camps and raised their voice in support of their safe return to their country.

Rohingyas observe Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day on August 25 in remembrance of the horrific military offensive that began on this day in 2017 and pushed about 750,000 Rohingyas into Bangladesh.
