Report against Mustaque, Fowzia on September 18

A Dhaka Court on Tuesday fixed September 18 for submitting a probe report against two including Khandaker Mustaque Ahmed, Management Committee member of Ideal School and College in a case lodged over raping a college student.

As the investigation officer couldn't submit the report today, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Farzana Shakil fixed the new date.

The other accused of the case- Ideal School and College Principal Fowzia Rashedi has been charged with abetment in rape.

On August 1, Judge Begum Mafroza Parveen of Dhaka Nari O Shishu Nirjatan Daman Tribunal-2 recorded plaintiff's oral statement.

According to the case, with the help of Fowzia Rashedi, Mushtaque used to meet the girl at college premises in various excuses.

As the victim refused inappropriate offers made by him, he threatened to kill her family.

The victim requested the college principal to take action against him but she kept a mum, the case documents say.

Later, the victim was forcibly picked up from her village home and raped after being forced to marry him.
