DGHS to introduce 'Dengue' app today

Aiming to control the widespread dengue outbreak, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will unveil an app named "Dengue" on Tuesday.

"Dengue" app will be inaugurated through an event at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque will grace the event as the chief guest.

According to sources at the DGHS, physicians and healthcare workers can conduct "fluid management" of dengue patients through the app. Moreover, general people can learn about vacant seats at hospitals.

The app can be downloaded through Playstore. It was made by a team of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), with assistance from the DGHS.
