BNP leader Aman surrenders, sent to jail

A Dhaka court has sent BNP leader Amanullah Aman to jail in a graft case.

On Sunday, Aman surrendered before the court of Judge Abul Kashem of the Special Judge's Court-1 and pleaded for bail.

After the hearing, the judge scrapped his bail plea and ordered to send him to jail, defence lawyer Nazrul Islam told the Daily Samakal.
