Cyber-attack underway in Bangladesh, hackers claim

A hacker group claimed a cyber-attack has started on Bangladeshi websites. According to them, the attack started at 9:30am on Tuesday.

Claiming to be Indian hackers, the group said they had already attacked the websites of the Navy and two private hospitals.

The attacks were DDoS attacks. It means "Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack" and it is a cybercrime in which the attacker floods a server with internet traffic to prevent users from accessing connected online services and sites.
