Habibur Rahman new DMP commissioner

The government has appointed Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Habibur Rahman as the new commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

A notification issued by the Public Security Division of the home ministry on Wednesday made the announcement.

Habibur Rahman, also a member of the 17th BCS batch, is currently serving as the chief of the Tourist Police.
