Fire at Kakrail building under control

A building in the capital's Kakrail area caught fire on Monday morning. The fire was brought under control within an hour.

Ten units of the Fire Service and Civil Defences (FSCD) worked to control the fire at a building on the Shantinagar road, FSCD media official Anarul Islam Dolon confirmed.

On information, the first firefighting unit reached the spot at 10:10am. The fire was brought under control at 10:58am.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
