Dry weather predicted

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted mostly dry weather starting at 9 am on Saturday, with sporadic patches of partly cloudy sky in several areas of the country.

Over the Rangpur and Sylhet divisions, there is a chance of rain or thunder showers in one or two locations.

A met office report this morning stated that the weather would likely stay mostly dry with brief periods of partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country.

But across the nation, day and nighttime temperatures could not vary much.

The country's highest recorded temperature on Friday was 36.0 degrees Celsius at Khulna, and Tangail recorded the lowest temperature of 21.9 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
