US's words nothing to be taken seriously: Momen

Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen commented that there is nothing to give importance to the words of the United States. 

At the same time, he urged all to put trust in the government.

He came up with the statement while talking to journalists at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.

The foreign minister said that Dhaka welcomes the advice of the pre-election mission of the United States. 

“We are having dialogue. If they want, let them do it. There is no objection,” said Momen.

He also said, “We are always in favour of dialogue. We talk regardless of all parties. They (the United States) have said their words, we don't care on it. Trust in the government.”

The minister continued as saying, “The election is a game. Foreigners enjoy talking about it. Media also incites them.”
