Case filed against 165 BNP men in Sonargaon

Police have filed a case with the Sonargaon Police Station accusing 165 BNP leaders and activists on several charges including cocktail explosion arson, vandalism and obstructing police from performing their duties on the Kachpur Highway area of Sonargaon in Narayanganj.

Names of some 85 people were mentioned, including Sonargaon unit of BNP chairman Azharul Islam Mannan, while 80 more unnamed people were accused in the case. It was filed by Sonargaon Polie Station Sub-Inspector Mohibullah on Sunday afternoon.
