Metro Rail to remain closed on Nov 4

The metro rail will not be operational on November 4 as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Agargaon-Motijheel part on that day, the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has said.

DMTCL Managing Director MAN Siddique confirmed the matter at a press conference on Wednesday.

From November 5, the metro rail will operate from 7:30am to 11:30am on the Agargaon-Motijheel route and 7:30am to 8:30pm on the Uttara-Agargaon route, he added.
