10 buses torched in 12hrs across country

At least ten public buses were set on fire by miscreants in various locations across the country in the last 24 hours.

According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence media cell, 12 incidents of arson were reported across the country from 7:30pm on Saturday to 6:30am on Sunday. Other than buses, an office of the Awami League was also set on fire.

At around 7:30pm on Saturday, a Mirpur Link bus was set on fire in front of the Gausia Market at the capital's New Market area.

A bus from the Green University was set on fire at Elephant Road of the capital at around 7:35pm.

Miscreants set fire to a Raida Paribahan bus at the Janapath more of the capital's Sayedabad at around 7:55pm.

A Manzil Paribahan bus was torched in front of the Patal Market in the capital's Gulistan at around 8pm.

An Anabil bus was torched in the Signboard area of Siddhirganj in Narayanganj at around 11:42am.

At around 11:45pm, a Jamuna Express bus was torched in New Bus Stand area of Char Fasson of Bhola.

The Awami League office of Badalpur in Shahjadpur of Sirajganj was set on fire at around 2:55am.

Tyres were burned at the Teen Rastar More of Pirganj in Thakurgaon at around 3:52am.

A bus was burned at the Saddam Market area of Matuail in Dhaka's Demra at around 4am.

At around 5:17am, a bus was torched at the Mirpur-6 area in Dhaka.

Another bus was burned at around 6:24am in Bhogra of Gazipur.
