Cocktail blast injures 3 cops; 1 detained

Miscreants hurled cocktails towards police members patrolling the House Building area in Uttara on Sunday morning.

The incident injured three cops. Uttara West Police Station Assistant Sub-Inspector Mahbub Ali is among them.

Gazipur City Chhatra Dal former deputy chairman Kazi Mohammad Hasan was detained in connection with the incident, Uttara West Police Station Officer in Charge Mohammad Masud said. He is being interrogated.
