Tk 20,000 to be awarded for info on arsonists: DMP

Tk 20,000 will be awarded for handing over those who are carrying out violent acts and setting fire on cars and buses in the name of blockade.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman made the announcement while holding a meeting with Petrol Pump Owners Association at his office in the city on Monday.

The DMP chief mentioned that the locals have already handed over many of arsonists to police.

He said the main objective of police is to ensure safety and security of the Dhaka city during the political programmes.

The DMP commissioner made urge all to be remained alert about the arson attacks.

He suggested the petrol pumps owners for installing CCTV cameras at all petrol pumps across the country to ensure their safety and security.
