Bus torched in Badda

Miscreants torched a Raida Paribahan bus in Shahzadpur of Badda in the capital at around 2:30pm on Thursday.

Confirming the matter, Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room Duty Officer Ershad Hossain said two firefighting units from Baridhara are working to douse the blaze.

A 48-hour nationwide blockade called by BNP-Jamaat for the third consecutive time is underway. Less than usual traffic was seen in the capital as a result.
