Three buses torched in the capital

Miscreants have set fire to three buses in various locations in the capital between 7:30pm to 8pm on Saturday.

Confirming the matter, the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) control room official Anisur Rahman said one bus was torched in Agargaon, one in Gulistan, and one on the Mayor Hanif Flyover.

Locals brought the fire under control before FSCD could get there, he said regarding the bus torched in Agargaon.

Another bus was torched in front of the Gulistan Toll Plaza at around 7:40pm. Two firefighting units from Siddiquebazar FSCD went there.

Firefighters also rushed to the Mayor Hanif Flyover where another bus was torched, and brought the fire under control.
