JaPa sells 1,179 nomination forms

A total of 1,179 aspirants have collected nomination forms from Jatiya Party (JaPa) in two days to get party nomination to contest in the upcoming Jatiya Sangsad (JS) polls slated to be held on January 7, 2024.

JaPa Secretary General Md Mujibul Haque Chunnu told journalists on Tuesday that a total of 622 aspirants have collected nomination forms, reaching the total number 1,179.

Chunnu said they have urged the authorities concerned to hold a fair and credible election.

JaPa will contest in 300 constituencies in the polls, he added.
