4 'Hizb ut-Tahrir' men held in Khulna

Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) has arrested four members of the banned militant group Hizb ut-Tahrir, including its regional commander, from Khulna.

The arrestees are Md Anisur Rahman alias Ruhul Amin Rocky, 36, Md. Shakil Ahmed, 26, Md Rizvi Azim Khan, 27, and Mehdi Hossain Salit, 24, according to a press release issued on Sunday.

KMP Commissioner Md Mozammel Haque said they were detained from the Khanjahan Nagor area under the Harintana Police Station of Khulna City late on Saturday night. A case was filed against them with the Harintana Police Station.
