263 more Bangladeshis to return home from Libya

263 more undocumented Bangladeshi migrants would be sent back to Bangladesh on December 5 from Tripoli, the capital of Libya. 

During a press conference on Sunday, Muhammad Rafiqul Alam, the foreign ministry's alternate spokesperson, said the Bangladeshi foreign ministry and its mission in Tripoli are working to make it easier for Bangladeshis who have become stranded in Libya to return home with financial support from IOM.

Earlier, on November 28 and 30, respectively, 143 and 110 Bangladeshi nationals used a Buraq Air chartered flight to return home from Libya, using the same protocol.

Alam declared that the foreign ministry will continue to work toward the repatriation of citizens of Bangladesh who are stranded in Libya.
