Fire service reports 253 arson attacks in Dhaka

The Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) has reported 253 incidents of arson in Dhaka from October 28 to December 5.

An FSCD media cell press release confirmed the matter on Tuesday. Among the 253 are some incidents of vehicles and infrastructures being torched. 

The release added that from 6am on December 4 to 6am on December 5, one vehicle was torched in Dhaka city.

A Tanzil Paribahan bus was damaged in the incident which happened at the Zero Point area of Gulistan. Two units of the FSCD and 10 firefighters brought the blaze under control.
