None will be spared over arson attack on train

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Habibur Rahman announced that none of the arson attackers on train that killed four innocent passengers will be spared.

He mentioned that the police have arrested almost all the individuals responsible for the arson attacks on trains and buses. 

He made this statement while visiting the injured passengers of a train that was attacked on Tuesday morning. 

Habibur Rahman emphasized that these attacks take place before and during hartal and blockade programs, and the police are working to identify and apprehend those responsible for the train arson. 

He also mentioned that a particular political party has been involved in property destruction and the killing of innocent people in the name of hartal and blockade. 

Habibur Rahman has stated that the individuals responsible for acts of vandalism and arson, which resulted in the death of four passengers including a woman and her three-year-old son, were part of the hartal and blockades organized by a central decision of a political party. 

Various police units, including DMP, Railways, and CID, are working together to identify the culprits behind this act of sabotage. 

The DMP Commissioner was joined by DMP Additional Police Commissioners Dr Khandkar Muhid Uddin and Mohammad Haroon or Rashid in addressing the situation.
