RU to go on a 10-day vacation from Friday

Rajshahi University (RU) will have a ten-day winter vacation starting on Friday, which will include a weekend and an election.

All academic activities will be suspended during the vacation, according to professor Prodip Kumar Panday, the head of RU's public relations office. In the meanwhile, residential hall operations will not alter.

He said that the holiday vacation would be for five days, from December 31 to January 4. Four-day weekends are observed both before and after the winter break, with an extra day off on January 7 on the occasion of the national election.

After the vacation, academic activities and other relevant ones will resume on January 8, 2024.
