Faridpur top terror Samrat arrested

Police have arrested the notorious criminal Tofazzal Hossain Samrat from Faridpur.

He was arrested in a drive conducted in Fardipur City on Wednesday, Faridpur Kotwali Police Station Officer in Charge Shahidul Islam confirmed to the Daily Samakal.

Faridpur's identified terrorist Samrat and his men vandalized the election camp of Faridpur-3 independent candidate A.K. Azad, located near Gerda High School in Ward No. 3 of Gerda Union.

Multiple teams of the RAB and the police were conducting drives to capture Samrat. He was successfully detained on Wednesday noon, the OC said.
