Price of 12kg LPG cylinder Tk 1,433

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission set the price of one kilogram of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for the month of December on Tuesday. This past month, it was Tk 117.02.

The new rate will go into effect at 6:00 p.m. this afternoon, Tuesday.

BERC Chairman Nurul Amin stated during a press conference at the BERC office that the current price of a 12-kilogram LPG cylinder, including VAT, is Tk 1,433, which was earlier Tk 1,404.

Furthermore, the price per litre of LPG for cars increased from Tk 64.43 to Tk 65.76.

The BERC authorities attribute the rise in LPG prices on price rises in Saudi Arabia.
