Mild cold wave sweeping over country

Three northern districts are reporting mild cold wave conditions for the next 24 hours, beginning at 9 a.m. today, according to a forecast from the Met Office.

"Mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Dinajpur, Panchagarh and Kurigrram and it may abate from some places," stated the notification.

It's possible that the nation will continue to have generally cloudless, dry weather.

Moderate to thick fog may form in some parts of the country between midnight and daybreak and persist until noon. Air navigation, inland river freight, and road communication can all be hampered by thick fog.

There can be a slight rise in daytime and evening temperatures across the nation. Because of the widespread thick fog, cold temperatures may be expected in several regions of the country.

Tetulia reported the lowest temperature of 08.4 degrees Celsius today, while Teknaf recorded the maximum temperature of 28.7 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

West Bengal and Bangladesh's bordering northwest are reached by a subcontinental high ridge. A seasonal low crosses South Bay and troughs into North Bay.
