21 trains' schedule cancelled

The Bangladesh Railway (BR) has suspended the operation of 21 trains leaving from Dhaka. All of them are local, mail, and commuter trains.

Kamalapur Railway Station manager Mohammad Masud Sarwar confirmed the matter to the Daily Samakal on Saturday.

The trains which were cancelled are- Turag-1, Mohua, Karnaphuli, Titas-1, Rajshahi Express, Turag-3, Titas-2, Noakhali Express, Vowal, Surma Mail, Dewanganj Commuter, and Tangail Commuter train. Eight local trains in Narayanganj will also remain suspended.

"These trains will remain suspended on Saturday and Sunday," Masud Sarwar said.
