Condition of 8 train fire victims critical: Samanta Lal Sen

The eight people burned in the Benapole Express fire are all in critical condition. They are also suffering from psychological trauma.

Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery coordinator Dr Samanta Lal Sen said the airways of all eight of them were burnt.

He disclosed the information at a press conference on Saturday.

"We have kept all of them under observation. All of them are in critical condition,"  Dr Samanta Lal Sen said.

So far, four people, including two children, have been killed and several others injured in the Benapole Express train fire in the capital's Gopibagh on Friday night when it was heading towards the Kamlapur Railway Station, Dhaka from Benapole in Jashore district.
