CEC to address the nation at 7pm

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal will address the nation at 7pm on Saturday ahead of the 12th national parliamentary election slated for Sunday.

The address will be aired simultaneously from the Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital by Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar, according to the press wing of EC.

In his address, the CEC will urge the people to vote in the 12th national elections, and call for the candidates to maintain a fair election.

Previously, the CEC addressed the nation on November 15, 2023. In the address, he unveiled the election schedule. Bangladesh Television (BTV) aired a live telecast of CEC's address.
