A.K. Azad wins Faridpur-3

A.K. Azad has won in Faridpur-3 constituency in the 12th national elections held on Sunday.

Azad earned a landslide victory in his first appearance in the just concluded national election with "Eagle symbol" as an independent candidate bagging 1,34,098 votes. 

His nearest candidate Shamim Haque of Bangladesh Awami League got 75,089 votes.
