2 killed in Karwan Bazar fire

Two people were killed and more were injured in a fire that broke out in the Mollabari Slum of the capital's Karwan Bazar.

The fire broke out at around 2:30am on Saturday. It was brought under control at around 3:40am and was doused completely at 5:25am. 13 units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) were involved in fighting the fire.

The origin of the fire could not be identified yet, FSCD official Ershad Hossain told the Daily Samakal.
