BB to announce MPS on Wednesday

The monetary policy statement (MPS) of the Bangladesh Bank (BB) for the second half of the 2023–24 fiscal year will be made public on Wednesday.

BB Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder will introduce the MPS at a press conference at the city's central bank headquarters, according to a press release.

Additionally, the governor will tell reporters on how the current MPS is stimulating economic growth, containing inflation, and encouraging credit inflow into the private sector.

Attendees will also include representatives from Bangladesh Bank, the chief economist, the head of the BFIU, deputy governors, and other staff members.
