RAB recovers 5-kg heroin in Rajshahi

During an anti-crime operation Tuesday midnight, members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) discovered five kilograms of heroin in an abandoned state in the district, RAB sources stated on Wednesday morning. 

Following a tip, an elite force squad under the command of Lt Col Munim Ferdous, RAB-5 Commanding Officer, attacked a remote spot in Bogogachhi hamlet under Godagari upazila at around 1:30 am. There they discovered the illicit heroin.

The Godagari Police Station was notified of this, and they were given the seized goods when a complaint was filed there.
