Ferry services resume after 6hrs

The ferry services between Aricha- Kazirhat and Paturia-Daulatdia routes resumed at 10am on Wednesday after six hours of suspension. Earlier, the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) halted ferry services at 4am due to dense fog.

Confirming the matter, BIWTC Aricha office AGM Abdus Salam said ferry movement was allowed from 10am as the fog started to thin. The queue of vessels had grown to nearly 2 km long while they waited for the fog to clear in those six hours.
