Tetulia witnesses country’s lowest temperature

Tetulia, Panchagarh, reported the lowest temperature in the nation on Saturday—7.2 degrees Celsius—for the second day in a row. A mild to moderate cold wave is currently affecting much of the country.

According to Dhaka's Bangladesh Meteorological Department, "A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the districts of Gopalganj, Kishoreganj, Moulvibazar, Jashore, Kushtia and Chuadanga and it may continue."

From midnight to dawn, there may be light to moderate fog in some areas of the country and moderate to thick fog in others, mainly over river basins. Due to dense fog, inland river transportation may be impeded.

The country may see a brief period of partly overcast skies accompanied by dry weather.
