Yunus, 3 others get bail in labour case

The Labour Appellate Tribunal has granted bail to Nobel laureate Prof Muhammad Yunus and three other senior officials of Grameen Telecom.

Earlier in the day, the four placed an appeal with the Labour Appellate Tribunal against a Dhaka Labour Court verdict in a case filed for labour law violation.

They appeared before the court around 10:45am and filed bail petitions.

Accepting the appeal, the tribunal granted bail them till disposal of the appeal.
