GM Quader made Opposition Leader in parliament

Jatiyo Party chairman GM Quader has been made leader of the opposition in the 12th parliament.

Anisul Islam Mahmud, Chattogram-5 lawmaker, has become deputy leader of the opposition.

The parliament secretariat published a gazette in this regard on Sunday.

Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury recognised Quader and Anisul as opposition leader and deputy leader respectively, reads the gazette.

GM Quader was elected from the Rangpur-3 constituency in the 12th national parliamentary election held on January 7 this year.
